DSML is Directory Services Markup Language. DSML v2.0 is an OASIS specification of a markup language for representing and accessing directory data. The specification defines both a SOAP/HTTP 1.1 binding and a file binding. The JNDI/DSML v2.0 service provider enable access to DSML v2.0 services that are implemented as a Web service over SOAP/HTTP 1.1 or as a static document (file).
