Description
|
Japanese characters does not display with Hopper-b14 on Itanium 64bit RedHat Linux7.2.
TrueType font path and font.properties.ja for Itanium 64bit RedHatLinux7.2
is same as 32bit RedHatLinux7.2.
Warning displays as follows when invoke the GUI java applications.
Reproduce with sample application STRINGTEST.java that attached bug4693649.

|
problem is not reproducible on our lab's itanium linux machine, though it was
installed by using the exactly same redhat box version 7.2, need further
investigation
We have a different font.dir on our Japan QA team's itanium, either migrate
to kochi fonts or or use "filename" to specify the physical font name directly
