Description
|
The SUN JDK1.3rc1 crashes on redhat 7.0 when using the green thread package (java -classic).
It runs fine when using native threads.
The bug seems to come from the glibc-2.1.92 that comes with redhat 7.0
(see http://sources.redhat.com/ml/libc-hacker/2000-09/msg00085.html)

Evaluation
|
This is fixed in the redhat 7.0 glibc patch as below
27-Nov-2000 glibc (RHBA-2000:079-08)
This package updates the GNU C
library to 2.2 and fixes several bugs
found in glibc 2.1.92-14 and 2.1.94-3
